A group of IGOs with complementary mandates doing relevant AI policy work have come together in the Globalpolicy.AI initiative to help policymakers and the public navigate the international AI governance landscape and access the knowledge, tools, data, and best practices needed to develop AI policy.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div><div><p class=\"ql-align-justify\">Building on the launch of the Globalpolicy.AI initiative in September 2021, this 2022 RightsCon panel on \u201c<strong>Globalpolicy.AI: Promoting the development and implementation of trustworthy Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>\u201d sparked a lively debate on how we can collectively seize the opportunities and address the challenges of AI technologies.\u00a0<\/p><p>The session was structured as follows:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>Introduction of the Globalpolicy.AI initiative, currently involving eight intergovernmental organisations (the Council of Europe, European Commission, European Union Agency
